first_imgJoey Barton declared he had reached a turning point in his QPR career after helping them beat Swansea at Loftus Road.Barton, who scored the opening goal in Rangers’ 3-0 win, was recently barracked by fans and dropped by manager Mark Hughes.But he has responded well since returning and was excellent against the Swans.“With the character I’ve got and have shown in my career, I knew I’d bounced back,” Barton told Sky.“The fans expected more from me. Now I’m starting to turn in the performances I know I’m capable of.”Jamie Mackie, who scored Rangers’ second goal, added: “It was a massive win for us.
